Dentistry for Children - Sandy Springs

The office is beautifully designed to entertain a child during their dentist visit. I loved the hygeniest Alex who gave my 2-year-old her first cleaning. However, the doctor who was supposed to evaluate my daughter never showed up and we ended up leaving after 30 minutes of waiting. I'm not sure if they have enough doctors on staff to avoid long wait times. There are plenty of hygeniest for cleanings but my child never got to see a doctor.

I do not recommend going to this place. My son has a medical condition for which I already obtained a treatment authorization letter. The Sandy Springs clinic supposedly doesn't provide the treatment and sent me to Dunwoody. Upon arriving there, the dentist said he needs to be treated at another clinic. It's disorganized and shows a general lack of knowledge. My son was already seated at the treatment table when they sent him to another clinic because he has a feeding tube in his nose. I leave this clinic very disappointed. I definitely do not recommend it.

A Truly Autism-Friendly Pediatric Dentist - We Finally Found Our Dental Home After searching for a pediatric dental practice that could truly accommodate my children’s special needs, I’m so grateful we found Dentistry for Children in Sandy Springs. The positive experience began even before we arrived. The phone intake was thorough, welcoming, and professional. I especially appreciated being able to complete all of the paperwork online ahead of time - it made check-in incredibly smooth and stress-free. From the moment we walked in, it was clear this office is intentionally designed with children in mind. The environment is colorful, playful, and comforting, with murals and themed play areas that immediately help reduce anxiety and make the visit feel more like an experience than an appointment. We were checked in quickly and didn’t wait long before being called back. My oldest son was seen first for a cleaning, and everything went smoothly. My youngest son, who is on the autism spectrum and has significant sensory sensitivities, was brought into a private room where the staff immediately created a calmer, more supportive environment for him. Best dental office in the city that I have taken my son to. The team there took extra steps to help me out and bear with me all while I’m still working. I really appreciate that and you’ll did an excellent job with taking care of my son dental health and made him feel at home. I recommend everyone that I know to come to your office. They are the best; they treat my children with great respect and professionalism. It's a place where my children feel happy going to the dentist. Before finding this wonderful place, they were terrified; now they love the dentist.
